Board Chair profile
Key role of a new Board Chair:
The current Board and Founder wish to onboard an external Chair to strengthen the Boards guidance of Cymab towards a strong fundraising and partnership options with big pharma.
A key role of the chair is to bring fundraising experience, strong VC network and connections to pharma BD. A strong US network is preferable.
Experience:
- 15-30 years Biotech and pharma experience
- Successful in fundraising as CEO, Executive board member, etc.
- Multiple successful partnerships – either as CEO or BD with big pharma or leading BD in big pharma.
- Strong networker, interested in supporting Cymab, through leverage of own network and joining selected meetings with VC.
Scientific fields
- Scientific depth in cancer immunotherapy and antibody development is preferable.
- Science savy to engage and support discussions, but not expected to front the scientific discussions.
Network
- Strong US based network to US VC and big pharma BD. Ideally US based, but not a requirement.
